Krozjin mentioned this is likely the same thing as HDR in photography and film (i.e. Enable HDR rendering and improve overall graphic quality. This is only for my card, of course, but should give others a sense of where they'll get performance gains. This does not mean I got xx% more FPS just that my benchmark score went up/down xx%. As I go along, I will convert the new score to a percentage so others can get a feel for how noticeable the impact was. I'm beginning the process of testing these one-by-one now. Sure it isn't a great game, but I do enjoy it in small doses, and most people I hear talking crap haven't even played the game, or haven't played sense beta, so they don't know what they are talking about. Oh, and when going into 3D, the frame rate doesn't drop at all. Is there a Nvidia CP that I can set up for it to help it out? (aside from the force triple buffering and vsync) For the life of me, I can't understand why with full graphics I drop down to 10-15 fps. All maxed settings except maybe AA, just because I'm only on a 1920 x 1080. I'm talking about ambient occlusion on and DoF. As you can see, my sig rig is pretty much as beast as it can get without traveling to the future for upgrades. Can ANYONE run FFXIV at full graphical settings.
